U sklopu Kulturpunktovog i SPID-ovog programa Kritička dramaturgija: o humoru, otvaramo prijave za radnu grupu Rad koju će voditi umjetnica_k, koreograf_kinja, pedagog_inja i komičar_ka Krõõt Juurak. Na prijavu pozivamo (ne)radnice u kulturi i ostale zainteresirane za temu (ne)rada. Radna grupa održava se tijekom dva popodneva, u četvrtak i petak 25. i 26. svibnja u prostoru Studio Ilica (Ilica 63) od 15 do 19 sati. Radni jezik je engleski.

Zdravo! Dobrodošli_e na ovu radnu grupu. Tema je rad. Naravno da ćemo raditi, ali ćemo i pokušati dokučiti kako izbjeći rad, kako raditi manje, i kako raditi MINIMALNO.
Prethodno znanje nije potrebno.
Molimo da dođete odjeveni_e za rad.

Ova radna grupa u stvari nije o radu, već o tebi i tvojoj izvedbi. Drugim riječima: radeći ono što već radimo, istražit ćemo ono što već jesmo i ono što već izvodimo. Usto se želimo i zabaviti. Kad je riječ o zabavi, što je više promišljamo, komentiramo ili joj posvećujemo radionice, ona postaje sve iritantnija, dosadnija i na kraju se pretvara u rad. Stoga ćemo tražiti (ne)podudarnosti između svojih očekivanja i nadanja.
Ova radna grupa posvećena je tome kako izvodimo rad i kako se pretvaramo da izvodimo rad. Kao i o vašim najboljim, najgorim i najOSREDNJIJIM izvedbama rada, i to sve u isti mah.
Ukratko – želimo otkriti kako se izvući iz rada sa što manje rada.
U situaciji koja se temelji na različitim zadacima, vježbat ćemo kako biti svoji_e u proširenom značenju riječi.
Prethodno znanje o izvedbi ili radu nije potrebno.
Molimo da dođete odjevene_i za posao ili odmor.
O voditelju_ci:
Krõõt Juurak (Tallinn, 1981) je umjetnik_ca, izvođač_ica, stand-up komičar_ka i plesač_ica koja_i živi i radi u Beču. Studirala_o je koreografiju na ArteZ i vizualnu umjetnost na institutu Sandberg u Amsterdamu. Recentne izložbe i izvedbe uključuju Baltic Triennial 14; You’re So Busy (Shedhalle, Zürich); Thinking Like an Octopus (Wilhelm-Hack-Museum, Ludwigshafen); Art for Animals: A Perspective Change (Opelvillen Stiftung, Rüsselsheim); Cohabitation (Silent Green, Berlin).

As a part of Kulturpunkt’s and SPID’s program Critical Dramaturgy: On humor, we invite cultural (non-)workers and everyone interested in (not) working for a two-day working group Work, led by artist, choreographer, dance teacher and comedian Krõõt Juurak. Work will take place on 25. and 26. of May at Studio Ilica (Ilica 63).

Hi! Welcome to this working group. The topic is work. Of course we will work but also we will find ways to not work, ways to work less, and ways to do the bare MINIMUM.
Previous knowledge is not required.
Please come dressed for work.
Longer version:
This working group is about actually not about work but about you and your performance. In other words: we will explore what we already are, what we already perform, through the work that we already are. And we also want to have a fun time. But fun, the more you think about it, talk about it or make workshops about it seems to become rather annoying, boring and eventually just work. Therefore we will look for (dis)alignment in our expectations and hopes.
This working group is about performing work and pretending to perform work. Also about performing your best, performing your worst and your most MEDIOCRE, and all that all at the same time.
In short – we want to find new ways of ‘getting away with it’.
In this task-based situation we will practice being ourselves in the expanded sense of the word.
Previous knowledge in performing or work is not required.

Krõõt Juurak, born in 1981 in Tallinn, Estonia, is an artist, performer, stand-up comedian, and dancer based in Vienna. They studied choreography at ArteZ and Fine Arts at the Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam. Recent exhibitions and performances include the Baltic Triennial 14, Vilnius 2021; You’re So Busy at Shedhalle, Zürich, 2021/2022; Thinking Like an Octopus, Wilhelm-Hack-Museum, Ludwigshafen, 2021; Art for Animals: A Perspective Change, Opelvillen Stiftung, Rüsselsheim, 2020/2021; Cohabitation, Silent Green, Berlin 2021.
